Outlines for Life Donates $50,000 to Step Up & Ride

In keeping with their Mission Statement ‘our aim is to improve the quality of life in Dawson Creek and District’ and recognizing the challenges that organizations are facing during the COIVID-19 pandemic, on April 23, 2020 Outlines for Life Society donated $50,000 to Step Up N Ride acknowledging the valuable service they offer individuals of all ages in our community, these funds will assist them in the purchase of a new bus.

Step Up N Ride has been a huge asset to our local community, providing a door to door wheelchair accessible service in the Dawson Creek and surrounding areas for individuals unable to access public transit. The service is available to all seniors, adults and children with disabilities, and preschool and school children in need.
