Rhiannon Poli Women in Trades Bursary

Rhiannon Poli, a valued member of the STRAIT team, tragically passed away in October of 2021. Rhiannon was a highly skilled welder known for her feisty personality, generous heart, and unparalleled work ethic. She is dearly missed.

To honour Rhiannon’s memory, STRAIT has partnered with Mike T’s Welding to establish a Women in Trades Bursary. The bursary will be awarded to one or more female nominees pursuing post-secondary studies in a trades program.  

We are currently accepting applications for the inaugural recipient(s). If you’d like to nominate a candidate currently enrolled or looking to enroll in a trade certification course, please nominate them by March 31st, 2022.
