Concession Assistant

Job description

The Concession Assistant will be responsible for assisting the cooks and concession manager in all aspects of the concession in preparing to open, take orders, cooking, and cleaning.

Job Duties:

  • Present a positive and professional image of the organization during all interactions with outside agencies, staff, board of directors and community members.
  • Assist with the preparation of concession food
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Assist with the cleaning of the kitchen and work area

Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid food safe or willing to obtain
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting
  • Good time management skills
  • Knowledge of Indigenous Culture
  • Criminal Record Check

Skills and Abillities

Hours & Schedule

Varied - some split shift work, Hours of Operation are 10am to 8pm
