The Sheet Harbour Area Resource Centre (SHARC) is a one-stop employment service for job seekers on the Eastern Shore. Patrons can job search independently (or with assistance from the professional job search facilitators), build a personal Action Plan with staff, work with the job developer and/or participate in a variety of job search workshops.

In October 2006, SHARC became the first satellite site for the Canada/Nova Scotia Business Centre in HRM. As a satellite, SHARC offers an on-site resource library, and a computer, dedicated to the needs of entrepreneurs and the business community by providing a comprehensive collection of information on government services and products.

Over the past year, we have been busy renovating our Centre making it a brighter, more comfortable place to look for work. We've painted; laid new floor; installed new furniture; and the CAP site has purchased LCD flat screen monitors. Come see our new look, and take advantage of our FREE services for job seekers and employers!
