Job Overview: The Duz Cho Logging Ore Truck Driver plays a crucial role in efficiently hauling and loading ore. This position involves a variety of tasks including maintaining equipment, operating machinery, and trucks. The ideal candidate must possess a valid class 1 driver's license, and be committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is a full-time position with a rotation schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, consisting of 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications and Experience

Clean-shaven appearance to comply with safety regulations.

Possession of a valid class 1 driver's license.

A clean driver's abstract demonstrating a safe driving record.

Minimum of 5 years of hauling experience.

Minimum of 1 years of Cat 966 Loader loading experience.

Ability to work long hours.

Willingness to submit to a drug test if required by company policy.

Skills and Abillities

Daily Pre-trip, FLHA and post trip inspections.

Ensuring trucks are greased.

Driving our trucks safely, whilst obeying all mine road rules.

Operating a wheel loader, Cat 966 to load and unload trailers.

Transporting ore concentrate from the mine to the Mackenzie ore shed in trucks.

Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.

Maintain regular and effective communication with supervisors and cross shift, regarding any changes in conditions or with the truck.

At the end of each shift:○ clean the truck windows and mirrors, sweep the cab floor, and wipe down all surfaces.○ fuel up truck, and top up DEF

Hours & Schedule

7 days on and 7 days off, consisting of 12-hour shifts
